Northern Cheyenne Tribal School is a fast growing, comprehensive K-12 school that serves 200 plus students of Native American decent. The immersion of the Cheyenne language beginning in preschool makes us extremely unique and gives the students we serve a cultural perspective. 

We offer a large number of advanced placement courses in conjunction with Chief Dull Knife College to provide students a hybrid educational setting. This allows students to take dual courses, earning college credits while still in high school that are fully transferable to a four year university. We also offer fine arts, career and technical education courses as well as standard classes that are aligned to Montana state standards. 

In addition, we provide excellent extracurricular activities with class "C" competition.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a supportive atmosphere of learning through partnerships between the school, parents and community members with a focus on education, and cultural development of the youth entrusted to us, to ultimately become successful representatives of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe.
